A Guide to Replace Asus LCD Screen

This article helps Asus Laptop users in replacing the broken LCD screen for their laptop (Model number – U52F). Asus U52F laptop has a LED backlit LCD Screen which is quite inexpensive now-a-days. It’s a hard and fast rule that you must remove the display panel in order to replace the broken Asus LCD Screen. You can easily do it even when display panel is attached to your Asus laptop. But before you start, make sure that to turn your laptop off and remove the battery as well.

STEP 1

First of all, remove the screw cover located on the lower left edge of your display with the help of a sharp object. Now remove the screw.

STEP 2

Now remove the second screw cover located in the lower right edge of your Asus laptop screen.  Remove the screw as well.

STEP 3

Start removing the screen bezel from the LCD Screen cover. Always use a soft plastic to detach the bezel. You will find various small plastic latches holding the bezel and display cover together.  Now move the bezel left to right or up and down so that those latches can be separated.  Take care of the latches. If they got broken, it will be quite hard to fix the screen bezel tightly when you will resemble them.

STEP 4

Remove the screen bezel.

Now you will find that the bezel is glued with the bottom part of the Asus LCD screen with a double sticky tape.  Remove the tape from LCD screen; make sure tape stays on the bezel so that you can use it again when you reassemble the screen. 

STEP 6

After separating the screen bezel, remove the 4 screws while protecting the LCD screen to the display cover.


STEP 7

Remove the LCD display from the cover and place it down faced on the keyboard.

STEP 8

Now you will find a video cable connector located in the lower part of the Asus LCD screen.

STEP 9

Remove the tape while protecting the video cable connector. Now detach the cable from the LCD Screen.

Step 10

After removing the broken LCD screen, replace it will a new one. You can buy a New Asus LCD Screen online at Store.daily-mart.com.
